Expanded offerings, more libraries
Baton Rouge, Louisiana January 16, 2015: Basic Gardening programs in five EBR libraries are being presented by East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners in 2015. Programs include often requested topics such as vegetable gardening, turf grass, blueberries, citrus, making a raised bed, pet-friendly gardens, ferns, shrubs, composting, planting bulbs. Each 2- hour evening program a covers two topics with time for questions. Master Gardeners are volunteers trained and certified by LSUAgcenter to provide horticulture information to the public. These programs are part of their voluntary public service.
